Motivated students are very welcome!

We are a new group, which started in April, 2013.
We would like students to learn various things through research activities.

We are looking for highly motivated students for undergraduate and graduate programs.
Folks who are interested in research activities or cutting edge science, and of an ambitious spirit, please consider our group to realize your potential.

Setting up thermocoupoles to measure the temperature distribution in the die used in the SPS.

Overview

This group currently focuses on thermoelectric materials to improve their thermoelectric conversion efficiencies. Students will need to study phase diagrams, thermodynamics, phase transformations, atomic diffusion, solid state physics, etc. We do NOT mind what your background is. What we need is that you study and understand well things related to your research. This group also places emphasis on presenting our research achievements to the outside. Students will have occasions to polish their skills for presentation and writing papers of their work.
